It has been quite a while since I last posted here, but here I am again! I will try to be more consistent because I feel like I have officially slipped out of my PO hiatus (I have a few figures on PO now) thanks to the Megahouse GEM figures and GSC nendos! One of them, though she’s been out for a while now, is the adorable Nendo Miku HMO version.

Oh let’s see here… What’s this? Another post? — And a review nonetheless! I feel like this has been waaaaaay overdue so I decided to make another review post since I doubt anyone is interested in my comments for upcoming figures. ~_~; I have a huge backlog of unopened figures since I haven’t done any reviews in a long while, so I decided to start again! I’m trying out a different review style in this post, so please do comment on it. The subject of this review is the cute Nendoroid Nao Staccato ver. from the online game Mabinogi. Apologies folks for the lack of posts for the past… *checks date of last post* month. Goodness. That has really been a while since I last posted. Well this isn’t much of a new post but hopefully, I’ll get off my lazy ass and start a few articles that I’ve been meaning to start for a while.
So *cough* on to the topic… as the title says, and probably fellow (avid) BRS fans have already know by now, pre-orders for the figma and nendoroid incarnations of Black★Rock Shooter are have been opened at your favorite online retailers (like AmiAmi, Otacute, and HLJ) since 12:00 noon JST today. So, I found out news that GSC is going to release another version of Saber Lily and she’s going to be an exclusive release. The name of this version is Saber Lily ~Golden Caliburn~. I’m pretty sure those who have followed me for some time know I have a soft spot for Saber — especially Saber Lily, but I’m frankly disappointed with how GSC is going about with their figure releases lately. This one, is a major annoyance in my opinion.

So, after seeing RadiantDreamer‘s awesome Halloween Moka project, I decided to try my hand at making figure photoshop projects too — although I can say that I phail miserably. Free virtual cookie to those who can spot fatal mistake #1, 2 and probably fatal mistake x?
Well, actually, it’s a form of procrastination. I have been commissioned by a friend to create catalogs for contact lenses using flash. Although I’m still downloading flash because my installer is nowhere to be found… OTL I’ve been trying to put contacts lenses on eyes in photoshop — and it’s not as simple as I thought it would be. One can only stare at an EYE that doesn’t blink for so long. ><;
So, enough rambling. I shall try to update in a bit… and I still need to post Kimi ni Todoke posts!
Oh, and… comments about the photo are greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone! Here’s TanTango’s third figure review (still lagging in the reviews!). Today’s subject: the adorable Nendoroid Kagamiku!

Wasabi Toys just updated their store list yesterday, and *legasp* they suddenly restocked on a whole load of figmas. ;A; now I’m pretty torn because I was bent on getting Saber Lily Alter and GSC Saber Lily — but I’m suddenly opting for buying just one scaled Saber Lily and buying figmas/Nendo Kagamiku instead.
